Heather P. McMahon

Heather is an associate at Vecchione, Vecchione & Cano, LLP.  Before joining the firm, she practiced in insurance defense, managing a high-volume litigation docket on behalf of self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. She regularly handled hearings and trials, prepared summations, memoranda of law, and appeals, and partnered closely with clients to develop practical, results-driven strategies focused on risk management and efficient resolution.

Ms. McMahon previously served for ten years as a Supervising Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Bureau. She prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases, conducted bench and jury trials, pre-trial hearings, and grand jury presentations, and conducted complex investigations involving witness and victim interviews and analysis of medical, financial, and cellular records. In her supervisory capacity, Ms. McMahon trained and mentored junior prosecutors in case strategy, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
